German Traditional Shotokan Karate Federation

For many years now we have been successful and are committed to good and clean traditional Karate.

For a long time we have (*1928-2008) operated as TKVD in ITKF under the guidance of Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama.

After the death of Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama, we have reorganized ourselves and in 2010 we have founded the new German Traditional Shotokan Karate Federation (DTSKF). The search for other Japanese roots led us to Sensei OKAZAKI (10th Dan), Chief Instructor of ISKF - International Shotokan Karate Federation. In the ISKF we have found what Karate was real for us once again. Now we are the German branch of the ISKF under the guidance of Sensei Michael Bock.

Our mission is to culitvate the true meaning of Karate and work togheter to a bright future. I invite honest karatekas and Clubs to work with the DTSKF, to cooperate and exchange ideas together.
